Our baby girl turned 1 on the 18th. We celebrated by having a big party with all our family and friends. Merrill had a blast, but when it came time to open presents, she was getting sleepy and she started squealing because she couldn't get her way! All in all, she enjoyed the party and loved all the attention everyone gave her. She got lots of clothes and some very fun toys. We gave her some plastic play food and she walks around with the turkey hanging out of her mouth. We tried swapping the cheese and she just spits it out and grabs the turkey again... She even went to the bathtub last night with it still in her mouth! Crazy Kid! She's not walking yet... cruising around furniture, pushing her toys and can stand on her on... but no first steps by herself. She's saying mama, cat, baby, milk, night night, da (for daddy), and stop (thanks Mom and Jim! :) ) We love watching her learn and grow, it's so fascinating! Oh, we also got her a first pair of 'walking' shoes... they're too cute... They're also too heavy for her on her feet, so she'll drag her feet along and stub her toes all the time. Her favorite food so far is spaghetti, goldfish, strawberries, and bananas... Loves them! Happy Birthday Biscuit! We love you!!!
